January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 6-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab. The film recreates the circumstances that surrounded Hind Rajab’s actual killing in January 2024, in which Red Crescent volunteers struggled to send an ambulance to rescue the child, who was trapped under fire in Gaza. The cast includes Saja Kilani, Motaz Malhees, Amer Hlehel, and Clara Khoury. Producers include Nadim Cheikhrouha (Ben Hania’s FOUR DAUGHTERS), Oscar winner Odessa Rae (NAVALNY), and Oscar winner James Wilson (THE ZONE OF INTEREST). Celebrity executive producers who joined the film also include Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Alfonso Cuarón, and Jonathan Glazer.
