When Ketchikan’s last Filipino community center closes, a Filipina who spent her life resisting her heritage travels to the Philippines to rediscover her roots through indigenous dance.
That’s the story behind @Bridging Our Stories, an award-winning documentary by Kodiak director Rafael Bitanga. Bring your loved ones to our free screening – you’ll get the chance to hear from the team behind the film, watch a performance by visiting Ketchikan dancers, and enjoy locally made Filipino snacks.
