PHOTOGRAPHS & MEMORIES: The Music of Jim and Ingrid Croce (live show)
Mar 8 @ 6:00 pm

The Producers of “Here’s Looking at You, Casablanca” are excited to present another production. Inspired by “I Got A Name: The Jim Croce Story” by Ingrid Croce and Jimmy Rock, “Photographs & Memories” is a touching and ultimately tragic tale of a young couple’s journey to the pinnacle of the American music scene in the 60’s and 70’s. The show features over twenty of the Croce’s most famous hits!

Cast:

Summer Koester as Ingrid Croce

John Clough as Jim Croce

Rob Cohen as Maury Muelheisen

Collette as everyone else 🙂

Pursuant to the arrangement with Ingrid Croce, Juneau Lyric Opera is offering tickets on a complimentary basis, however, you must reserve a seat in advance.  Limited seating. Tickets available at the usual outlets.

A suggested donation of $10 per person to the Gold Town Theater for use of the stage would be very much appreciated.

Two weekends only! Don’t miss out on this very special original production.

PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE
Mar 19 @ 7:00 pm
France, 1760. Marianne is commissioned to paint the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the convent. Because she is a reluctant bride-to-be, Marianne arrives under the guise of companionship, observing Héloïse by day and secretly painting her by firelight at night. As the two women orbit one another, intimacy and attraction grow as they share Héloïse’s first moments of freedom. Héloïse’s portrait soon becomes a collaborative act of and testament to their love.
